the setup : On the default caboose pressing the "5 key" (view 5) displays a view from inside the caboose. In the above scenario I used Dick Cowen's low hood GP-9 loco. When the loco was running short hood forward the view-5 worked and produced a interior view from the caboose, but when running long hood forward, with the caboose either in front or behind, the view-5 produced a view essentially identical to view-1, that is inside the cab.
OK so I thought this must be a defect in RS or in the design of the caboose...but no! When I performed the same test using the default SD-40 loco, the view 5 worked no matter which way the loco was traveling, or which direction the caboose was oriented.
Assuming that I am correct in my observation, does anyone have an insight as to what might be going on?
