This would be a great adition to a shortline. Anyone intested in making it?

Huh, is that basically a full-width GP40? that type is well hidden in google...

Ya converted from a retiring amtrak fleet of F40s. All I know is the Rio Grande scenic and Canadian American railway owns them.

I looked at the PH, but the nose appeared to be so different I thought it was maybe a variant of a GP40W instead. Live & learn!

When I saw it I wondered why the nose had been chopped. But as it turns out you need a front platform for switchmen to run it legally.
