How to create flashing ditch lights, and how to create "horn" quills?

Along with my Harlem Line project I've been working on, I decided to keep working my revamp of the original NEC after I got the North Jersey Coast Line (On Sale, 75% off)! And a new computer, which can actually turn out more than 20 fps! *!lol!*

One of the things I wanted to include in the route package would be an updated version of the AEM-7. Similar to, though not as intricate as the SS packs. One problem I've run into is how to create flashing ditch-lights for the AEM-7. There are a lot of videos where they're see running with the ditch-lights flashing, rather than the strobe lights (which seemed to become obsolete after the early 1990s). Is there any scripting, animating, etc?

Another question is the "horn" quill. In FanRailer's most recent mod pack for the ACS-64, he was able to create a custom key command and create a horn quill. I love this feature very much and wanted to put it on the AEM-7. As far as I know, the input mappers has something to do with it, but that's as far as I know.

Anyways, here are some shots of the redone portal bridge, and a custom catenary test for that area.

The input mapper, engine.bin, and horn.proxy all need to be modified to get the quill. I've been both successful and unsuccessful with certain DLC. Best thing to do is search for "HornHB" in the engine.bin and input mapper (from Pacific Surfliner F59PHi, for example), copy those sections that include it, and properly put it in the desired locomotive's files. I've screwed up stuff before trying to add it, so it's a hit or miss *!lol!* .
