Modeling (rail)bus seats in 3d Crafter 8

These seats have delaying progress with building this bus for months now. I have thought of possibly using 3d Crafter 8.2.8 to build these and the rest of the bus interior, as an alternative to Train Sim Modeler.

But how does one construct these curved portions as shown in the two images? Which function is recommended for turning boxes into these? Has 3DC got a function which enables one to dictate the number of polygons used in an object after it's placed like Blender has? I have been experimenting with the features in the construction panel, but to no avail so far.

The reason I have mentioned this is due to my desire to build a railbus version of the actual type that operates in Adelaide. Essentially what's in the attached image with rail wheels, operating on 5'3 gauge.

The way I shape my cars in Crafter is to push and pull at your edges until they're nice and rounded, you'll also want to mirror it as well, if you do that enough you should be able to round it nicely.

It sounds simple enough, but how exactly is this done for those unaware?
