Repainting the DTM Alco FA-1/FB-1

Unread postby TDHenderson » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:58 am

Have any of the pros here tackled a repaint of the DTM Alco FA-1/FB-1's yet? If so and if interested in a request shout out on this thread.

Wabash FA-1/FA-2 (they had FB-1's as well but I cannot locate a picture of those)

Didn't Lord Mannu make a set of FA's? (can't find them in the library tho)

Hah! Found them! viewtopic.php?f=14&t=994 (or did y'all know that already, and I'm late to the party again) NVM, just realized what DTM is. !**duh*!!

The above posted MOPAC photos are of the PA passenger units. The PA's & FA's had two different paint schemes. the PA scheme was more streamlined to match the passenger trains.

While the FA's ran in this scheme

I have completed the model, and have permission from Mr. Pach to set them up for public download. Of course, it will require the purchase of the original loco set, as I cannot include shape or animation files.

Updated: Hawk has the files..

If you don't mind; Would you let me know what you think of the documentation? It it too much, or does it cover what you need?

Thanks, MM

Well, personaly I am an advanced Railworks USER (not developer), so I am used to install addons so it is a routine for me. I dont mind a long ReadMe, but It is very helpfull to new RW users. When I started with RW the readme files helped me a lot. !*salute*!
