Child object decal question

Unread postby fecrails » Tue Sep 25, 2018 1:52 pm

I made a decal child object and successfully placed it on a locomotive repaint. The geo file and texture are located in my own provider asset folder. Their bin file is placed in the repaint's folder with the proper path edited to reference my provider folder location. That all works as it should. My question; can the geo and texture files be moved in to the locomotive folder without the need for a separate provider asset folder for the child object?

Indeed! make sure the links are properly addressed within the bin file and all will fall into place. Try it yourself, in your own Loco file and test for potential errors. If you are unsure have a backup of the original .bin file.

Have fun, QcRail

Thank you QcRail. I'll give a go at editing the .bin and move them.
