Old Time Reefer for the Clear Creek N.G.

Unread postby QcRail » Thu Dec 07, 2017 4:16 pm

Took a break from my Gunderson-container production, and stepped back in time (as I just purchased the Clear Creek Rte.) and tried a historic period reefer (1890-1920) with a unique logo. I had two choices 1) change the texture naming in the .GeoPcDx file and keep it for myself or come up with a possible variant for distribution, thus cut/paste the original .GeoPcDX file from the : Assets\JL\ClearCreek\RailVehicles\Freight\Reefer. BUT to produce the new graphic one has NO choice to Alpha the reeferdecals.TgPcDx - as it is quite inappropriate (too small in size an not in the proper location).

Therefore, I did Alpha the «reeferdecals», but had to reskin the original JL's CS Reefer (you may compare with the original version - mine has period letters and markings).

Thus in tandem 1) the «new original» and 2) the new «old timer» CS 517 Refrigerator Car

Any feedback would be appreciated *!!thnx!!*

PS. If JL was so kind to let me distribute the reefer .GeoPcDx file, I could go even further - Thinking of the Coors-Golden Narrow-gauge reefer !*brav*!

I would love to have this one. It would be interesting to be able to replace all the original C&S with the new ones.

I like them both.....

There were some really great and creative paint jobs in the early 1900’s.....

I thought it unfair that only Coors be represented so here's a weigh in from Milwaukee.
