I said Red and Gray, but Orange and Black?

I'm having way too much fun with these little switchers... !*roll-laugh*!

Image

SP 1127 waiting at the signal for MILW 1216 to clear the crossover. The SP SW8 1127 switcher lived and worked in the Oakland, CA SP yards for many years before being sold to the 'Lewis and Clark' Railroad in Clark County, WA. When they went under, the Oregon Pacific Railroad bought it. Restoration is in progress.

Milwaukee SW9 1216 was assigned to the Hiawatha passenger yard in Chicago. Because of it's lofty job, it warranted a Hiawatha logo on each side at the front of the hood and was always kept spotlessly clean.

Both of these little girls are packed and ready to upload, but to avoid the wrath of the admin, I'll wait a few days before putting him back to work. *!lol!*

Hey Mike, how about a CNW SW1200 to add a little Yellow and Green to your color pallet? The museum line I volunteer for has the former CNW 1219 pulling our excursion train.

Thanks,
Trevor

Pictures? Feelthy Pictures?* Even Clean Pictures. I have the color samples, and some photos of the CNW switcher paint scheme. If you have some pictures to work from, Please get them to me. Send me a PM and i'll give you the e-Mail. I'll do a first try tonight and see how it goes.

Edit: A clean logo would help as well... the ones I have are small .jpg files.

* When I was about 45 years younger, I went on an excursion to Tijuana Mexico with some buddies. One of the things that we found there were young street side sellers pushing "Feelthy Peectures" of their supposed sisters/girlfriends. Most of those Photos and postcards would be printed in Time magazine now, standards have changed. /History Lesson

Very nice start sir!

Here are a few of 1219 while in CNW service with a simple CNW on the sides of the cab.

Hmmmm... variations on a theme! The above pictured loco was based on a picture of 1211. I'll renumber it and leave it as-is otherwise. With the pics you posted, I'll do the 1219 variation and we'll have two different CNW switchers.

BTW, you REALLY don't want to know how many compiles I did to get that angled stripe on the front! !*hp*! !**duh*!!

I know what you mean. Some of the things that look so simple to an outsider can be such a struggle!

Thanks for the CNW, I like them a lot.

Help! For some reason, I can't get the headlight colors changed in the SW-03.TgPcDx file without destroying the transparency that creates the radiators and top grates...

Does anyone that has Photoshop or PSP and would be willing to help? I'll furnish the file template and the paint swatches for colors. Thanks.

herm... ongoing effort on the headlight color issue. I'm currently working on versions of the TR5 cow and calf loco. I've found 4 fallen flags that used them and of course UP. Milwaukee version is near done. SP version is next. ATSF behind that.

MOPAC screaming eagle SW1200 request to be filled. RS3s are on the horizon.

I'll bet here's one y'all haven't seen: Pacific Harbor Lines:

They haven't been around too long, relatively speaking. http://www.anacostia.com/phl/phl.html They also have a couple of "reverse zebra stripe" (black with white stripe) 1200's.

Many Thanks to TDHenderson. He figured out how to fix the headlight issue! Now, I have a SW9 and a TR5 set in Milwaukee, Two CNW SW 1200s, and a SP SW8.

SInce the SW9 uses the files from the Britkits 05 Xtra payware pack anyway, I'll package the TR5 and it together in a single .rwp.

SP will be a single. The two CNWs will be in a single .rwp.

All will be ready in the next two days.
