Making Decals

I'm trying to repaint some locos that requires lettering on parts of the locomotive that are mirror too two sides... any guide on making these decals?
Da Build: Intel Core I5-9600k, Nvida RTX 2060 Super, 32 GB ram, and way too much storage.

Yes, that would make things so much easier to repaint. But I think Justin was planning to make a tutorial on child objects, decals and such.
