NH FL9 Ditch Light removal!

Has anyone successfully removed the ditch lights from the NH FL9.
They show as child objects in the .bin file but I have been unable to remove them either with the asset editor in RWTools or by doing it manually - stuck to the engine good and solid...
Any help would be appreciated!

It's a good idea to make a no ditch light variant using Fan Railer's FL9DC physics.
