I can't believe it. This is my very very very 1st attempt at a repaint. Although it may not be the prettiest repaint ever, I think it came out pretty good for a 1st attempt. What do you all think???
This is the Miami to West Palm Beach Tanker. I added Black Patching. And a PROCOR logo on it but failed big time on the logo

Good start there, I'd recommend porting over the textures to the Kuju tanker for a repaint, most people have the Kuju tankers anyway

Hi,

A really solid start there. !!*ok*!!

One (of many possible) recommendations, add one or a few layer(s) with a rust/dirt/grime texture(s) of your choice and play around with the transparency until it looks right. Textures.com has some lovely textures for weathering, check the "Decals" category on their website.

One other suggestion if you don't mind: try adjusting the black paint on the patch job. If you turn it into a pretty dark grey it will blend nicer with the rest of the texture.

Cheers
Michael

Sometimes I look back and say to myself 'I dream too big'. I tried to repaint the GP30, was not the best, but little did I know that would help build up on where I am today.

So for a first attempt, that looks good! !!*ok*!!
