Repainting help, rendering error?

So I began doing my first repaint just to see if It was something I could do. I began repainting the default BNSF C44-9W from RSC into CEFX colors and it didn't look that accurate but that's not the problem. The problem is once I finished the front I went into the game to test it, and it showed up fine except when the camera got further from the locomotive it just faded darker and darker until it was just black and looking from different camera angles different parts got dark and turned black, help?

I tried messing around with the alpha channel in DXT BMP, either the files didn't save correctly or it never worked

If I simply reskin an engine that's already been repainted by someone would that fix the problem?

so I did that and it fixed the issue, now I have a nearly complete CP AC4400CW Thanks for the help guys

Just for the record. It was in fact the alpha channel that was causing it. If you black out the alpha channel, it will work just fine.

I was trying to do a CEFX unit off the default BNSF but that didn't work. I used a previously uploaded CP dash 9 as the base, changed the color of the unit, re arranged the lettering and golden beaver, changed the vents around and gave it a bit of dirt.
