TrainBumpSpec.fx

Unread postby thebigroyboyski » Wed Jul 13, 2016 4:11 pm

I've been struggling for a week now to get TrainBumpSpec.fx to work on my Frontrunners wheels.
Could any of the 3DCrafter users tell me which texture I put in which slot?
I've tried serching but I can only find 3dmax guides.

Cheers

Hello,

The TrainBumpSpec.fx shader is very similar to the TrainBumpSpecEnvMask.fx in 3DC:
- main slot: diffuse texture (BMP or TGA doesn't matter for the 3DC exporter, but you will need the alpha channel of the TGA for specularity in the game)
- normal map in its correct slot
- it should work without the env.bmp environment map
- "TrainBumpSpec.fx" in RailSim custom field
- whatever you want to fill into the RailSimCustom field (I recommend "specularpower=1;r0arg0=32;r0miplodbias=0")
