Didn't I add a post to this thread yesterday in which I tried to turn the discussion back to the image included in the OP? My comment was that, although the load of cement ties
on the flatcar in that image is held in place by tie-downs, the point of the picture is
the load of ties suitable to MOW operations, not the means by which the load is secured. Allow me to quote the OP: "Has anyone created or can someone make a modern tie car with ties since all we have in Marias Pass is an empty one, maybe a version with cement ties and one with wooden ties ??? This would complete a MOW train." The clear basis for my opinion lies in the latter part of the query: "
a version with cement ties and one with wooden ties".
If expressing that opinion violated some obscure forum rule, please accept my apology for so doing.
