This model is a Lehigh Valley reskin of Michael Stephan’s 50t Offset-Side Coal Hopper. The freeware BN and Predecessors Freight Packs can be downloaded at http://www.stephan-michael.de/railsim/p ... herit.html .

The Lehigh Valley Railroad was one of a number of railroads built in the northeastern United States primarily to haul anthracite coal. It was authorized April 21, 1846 in the state of Pennsylvania and incorporated/established on September 20, 1847 as the Delaware, Lehigh, Schuylkill and Susquehanna Railroad Company. On January 7, 1853, the name was changed to the Lehigh Valley Railroad. It was sometimes known as the Route of the Black Diamond, named after the anthracite it transported. At the time, anthracite was transported by boat down the Lehigh River; the railroad was meant to be faster transportation. The railroad ended operations in 1976 and merged into Conrail that same year.

Run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file to install the models. The units will be installed to Assets\GreatNortherner\GNRy\RailVehicles\Freight\70t-Hopper\LV. In the scenario editor they are listed as “Hopper 55t offs LV.”

If you have problems you can post a message in the support forums at the Railworks America website. This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
