DL&W 50t Offset Side Hopper

This model is a Delaware, Lackawanna & Western reskin of Michael Stephan’s 50t Offset-Side Coal Hopper. The freeware BN and Predecessors Freight Packs can be downloaded at http://www.stephan-michael.de/railsim/p ... herit.html .

The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Company was a Class 1 railroad that connected Buffalo, New York, and Hoboken, New Jersey, a distance of about 400 miles (640 km). Incorporated in 1853, the DL&W was profitable during the first two decades of the twentieth century, but its margins were gradually hurt by declining traffic in coal, competition from trucks, and high New Jersey taxes. In 1960, the DL&W merged with rival Erie Railroad to form the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.

Run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file to install the models. The units will be installed to Assets\GreatNortherner\GNRy\RailVehicles\Freight\70t-Hopper\DLW. In the scenario editor they are listed as “Hopper 55t offs DLnW.”

If you have problems you can post a message in the support forums at the Railworks America website. This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.
