3ds Max Railworks import issue

Hello all,

This is my first post here and I would greatly appreciate any guidance/tips. I’m wanting to jump back into modeling. With that being said I’ve run into an issue-
I’m in the process of exporting a wagon into Railworks (Ts2016) from 3ds Max 2016. I’ve been using the tutorials from Railworkswiki on creating a wagon.

Here’s some additional information:
The model was saved as an editable poly with the extension RW Intermideditae Geomirty. Also, I applied textures ( dds.) and used the RWMaterial with the TexDif shader.
I’m using 3ds max 2016- (I’ve installed the plugins that came with Ts2016)

Here is what the BluePrint editor is saying:

[13] ConvertToGeo.exe: ERROR: Unsupported combination for shader TexDiff, material Hoptex
FILE:cHcGeometryObjectCreatorFormS.cpp
Line:763

[13] Could not export Conde\H_62_16\Railvehicles\Feight\Feb16BW\Feb16BW.IGS: See previous errors
Export process terminated due to errors

Any idea of where I went wrong? !**conf**!

Do plugins exist for Max 2016? The latest I have is for Max 2015.

Be sure you have all the objects in the scene with RW material applied. The best way to do this is select all objects and apply one matrial to all and export. If you don´t get the error is because you had one object with standard material before.

Do all parts of the model contain a texture. If there are any untextured portions, you'll get errors. Also be sure to name your parts correctly, all objects are either editable mesh or editable poly, and that no nurbs or splines are included with the export.

Plugins for Max 2015 should work for 2016.

Thank you all for your reply, I really appreciate it. Once I get off of work I'll go-home and give it a whirl.

Hello all,

Alright, the model is completely textured ( as far as I know) and the correct material has been applied. I made another few attempts but still no joy. Here's the code its pumping out now- Any ideas?

This one is pretty clear. You are referencing a blueprint that is not in Conde\H_62_16\.
This may or may not be the cause for the error, but better make sure.
Copy it to Conde\H_62_16\ and change the reference.

Thank you for your quick reply. Still no joy- I'm thinking I might start from scratch and give it another shot. I wasn't expecting for this to be too easy- but I'm determined to create some wagons.
