Slip Slip Slipping Away

Unread postby JerryC » Tue Jan 19, 2016 7:13 am

File this one in the another-weird-anomaly category.

I have this locomotive that i'm making, and there are a few child-object lights that have been placed on the front of the vehicle. The weird thing about it is that every time I Preview the locomotive in the Asset Editor, the lights get farther from the vehicle. They seem to double in distance every time the Preview button is hit until they finally move out of sight. Anyone else experience this? Any solutions?

Stop hitting the preview button.

Preview button mess the childs up, don´t use it. It is a lot better to see your model in game.

I have to wonder if this has something to do with the number of child objects used? The Class, Headlights, and certain parts of the locomotive are child objects and don't seem to be affected by this issue. The objects that are moving are much farther down the list, say 30 or 31.
