I purchased the loco today for $8.99. A few things I noticed immediately were the lack of sound in the cab, and the amount of flange noise. There's a You Tube video from Sherman Hill, which has cab sound, so I'm hoping this wasn't a one-off mod.
The speedometer is right in the engineer's line of vision. I presume this is true to life?
