P&LE GP38-2s

Unread postby mikeg1250 » Mon Nov 29, 2010 4:10 pm

Does anyone know if it is eiter:

a) possible to move the GP38-2s head light from the nose up to the more traditional spot

b)if anyone has made a GP38-2 with a high mounted headlight

or if none of the above are true

c)would be willing to make the mod for me?

I'm working on a set off P&LE GP38-2s and I'd really like to be able to make them look as accurate a possible (i.e. high mounted head light, with and without dynamic brakes). Any help would be appreaciated.

Okay well I went ahead with the low mounted headlight seeing as I don't believe P&LE ever had ditch lights mounted on there units anyway so we can't get too technical. Here is what they look like. The engine numbers will range from 2025-2041; all ex-Conrail units. Let me know what you think.

Couple questions:
- Where can I download the GP38-2
- Is there a SP livery for available for it?

Thanks

Update: OK I found the one Justin Cornell created

Just to update everyone, I have not uploaded the GPs anywhere yet. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get in contact with Justin Cornell to get his permission to release the reskin. If anyone knows how to get in touch with Justin, please direct him to this post.

As soon as I get his permission, I will upload the reskin.

I need someone to clarify this for me but I thought that you didn't need permission to upload the repaints as long as you didn't include their engine gizies ( technical term) themselves. Someone who knows please help.
