Autonumbering

Autonumbering

Hi,
I added auto numbers to my loco but the number color at some areas are little different.Why is this happening? and How can i make it the same color.

Look in the number texture and see if the two different numbers in there have the same foreground and alpha shades.

Assuming that the numbers are decals, decals have no diffuse, glossiness, emission, etc of their own. They just use the properties of the texture they are being projected onto, so if the texture underneath the front numbers has a darker diffuse colour or is less glossy then it can affect the decals above it.

Im working on a p32ac new haven repaint. since you put autonumbering on your loco is there any way to move the numbering to another location or the logos. The p32 logos and numbers are not part of the texture file.

Yes it is possible to move the auto numbers/logo to any other location, if the main model is yours since the auto numbers are separate object.

I think if they are a child object you can move them around even if you don't have the source files.
You can edit the position in the geopcdx file, following instructions in this tutorial from our learning center.
