Editing Headlights

Unread postby sabreman61 » Sun May 11, 2014 12:25 pm

I have noticed that on some of the locomotives when you blow the horn the front lights will start blinking and that is standard on all locomotives. I have found the lights folder that controls that. I have tried coping and pasting the lights folder
(C:\Railworks Train Simulator 2014\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\ES44AC_Pack01_CSX_YN3\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44AC\ES44AC_CSX_YN3\Lights
or any other locomotive lights folder)to other locomotives to see if I could get it to work but I am sure that there is a .BIN or .XML file that needs to be edited. Does anyone know how to do this. I would love to make this happen. Please let the community know so that others can do the same.

Thanks
*!!thnx!!* !*cheers*! !!*ok*!!

I was only able to do this through scripting it in the LUA.

Is editing that complicated? Because I've heard that it is hard. Also, where is the LUA thing? I am completely new at this, I only know simple stuff like repainting.

Its likely that the LUA file has been compiled into an OUT file so you will not be able to edit it.
