If you had told us what you were trying to find it would be easier to answer your question, but most likely it is in a .ap folder if it is one of the newer routes. You just need to unzip that folder and then all of the folders for that route will show up including the rail vehicles. If this doesn't answer your question tell us what you are looking for and we'll figure it out. !!det!!

OK

Yeah I know my first question was not clear. Sorry, I'm not typing in my mother tongue.

Thanks for the answer, I'll try to find .ap folders.

I suppose I'll have to unzip and zip once the reskin is done. I'll go one step at a time.

No zipping is necessary after. RW reads the unzipped stuff first and then the .ap folder.

va, what engine are you trying to find? If I have it, I can look with Windows Explorer and then tell you the path to look for. If you have not tried to install a repaint before, it looks hard, but when you follow the directions in the "readme" file, it will make sense. If I can do it, you can. !!*ok*!!

I wanna make a reskin of a GP40, I could use the Guilford GP40 in Portland Terminal.
Its my first TS2014 reskin. I made lots of Flight Sim X repaints and a couple Trainz2006 in the past.
I watched a very good video on youtube on reskinning and I suppose its not that complicated.
Any help will be appreciated.

OK, here it is: (this is for my Windows 7 64 bit, yours could be a little different)
"C" drive> program files (x86)> Steam> steamapps> common> Railworks> assets> G-Trax> PortlandTerminal> RailVehicles> diesel> GP40. Three files in there are default, GTI and MEC.

Hope that helps. I think Mdurdan has a tutorial here somewhere, look in the Library, if you want to try repainting this yourself.

Ooops

Running into problems.

Once my .dds file is done, what should I do to get it to the PgTcDx format?

Find the program RSBinTool. It will do the import from dds and save back to the TcPgDx folder. I think it's in the library.

In fact is RWtools probably.

When attempting to export from dds to TgPcDx, RWtools gives me a error message "No header files found in TempFiles for this .dds file, cannot process further".

I'm stuck.
