Ya sorry

my main problem was I couldnt find very many photos of weathered SP engines, they were all pretty dang clean
Waiting for the next train back to Railworks!
On my way back to these forums!

you are kidding right?

seriously?

SP was renown for being one of the dirtiest, rustiest, dustiest railroads around. People through they were trying to save money by not washing them. I've heard stories where engineers wished for rain.

That may be true for SP
but maybe UP sent them to the wash when they got patched

but I mostly found pic of fairly clean engines
