Hm, after studying the default F7 a bit... that has enormous potential. Not many models out there have that amount of large textures, and they've all got a bump map too ( even if it's not being used ). Working out what all the parts actually are should be entertaining though. Couple of months working up decent textures/bumpmaps and it would look astonishing.

Just in time for Easter, a set of Bonnets... *!greengrin!*

Image

Don't forget to right click to see full!

These will be all in a bundle, and will require the F7/F9 payware kit from Britkits...

Kali, I may look at that thing more closely and see if I can do a unpaint like I did on the GP38 from Brindley.

Yeah, I might have a go myself, specially with the facility to make some decent bumpmaps. That & the ES44 aren't perfect, but compared to something like the stock 47 they're a painters dream.

ok that is awsome! now only if we had the passenger cars to go with it......if it is possible in your time can you make the freight version? (passenger is like the one you made, and freight has the full red cab like in the photo i showed you.)

BTW, CN's locos have 4 numbers and not 3.

I'm aware of that, but the model builder has limited us to three. I may be able to tweak it, I'll try.

Other one had red, OK... How's this?

I saw a 40'Boxcar in the passenger colors, apparently they have a high speed freight service as well. Find me some good streamliner photos in CN, and I'll give it a go.

love the colour on the freight version, looks nice and faded! here is a pic of the rapido model of the car, as you HO scale modelers may know rapido is a canadian company known for it's attention to accurate detail on it's models.

the BEST cars for reskining that would be the most accurate would be the PAYWARE UP passenger cars from GTrax, because UP and CN used the same lightweight passenger car's in this era. (the square-ended sleeper)

Canoodles are uploaded, and I have viable skin for the passenger cars that uses the G-Trax freeware Daylight set. I need to get permission from Rick to use his models, then I'll post them.

(They still print the Daylight names and logos, this was a WIP test.)

it's as good as it's going to get! the only lightweight Lounge end cars that CN owned were the same ones that were on the Hyawatha trains (may be spelled incorectly) but it is better than not having anything in the first place!

MadMike1024 = God of repainting for RailWorks! !*roll-laugh*!

ok 1 more request then i will probably lay silent for a while so i can play with my new "toys" Here is my FAVOURITE GEEP!

they were eventually converted to short hood forward so the GP7 that we have now can work for this Green and Gold beauty!

Hi Mike, I cannot find the Daylight E9 in game. If you could, would you please make one?

Ouch... I just realized that Britkits doesn't have an E9, they have an E7.
