Oh please, accept the challenge. I'd really like to see the F7 in yellow and bluebonnet. Please. **!!bow!!**
(And a Western Pacific livery for it would be awesome. *!!wink!!* )

I was trying to do a repaint for the Soo Line and this thing is a nightmare to try and repaint. I hear you.

Some of the original model mapping almost brings me to tears...

Provided each part is mapped to the same scale it's not too slow, you can just measure from the body edges while you're painting; it's when you have to rescale the paint across panels that you wonder why you didn't just take up punching yourself in the face.

And then you start trying to add shading/weathering and matching that across body parts, then you really do go insane.

How could I resist?

The F7/F9 models are Payware, currently £4.50 from Britkits. There is a freeware F3 A Unit, and a freeware FT A Unit from Britkits. To get and use FT/F3 b Units requires payware from Britkits. (the F3 B Units come with the F7/F9 pack)

Mike is there already a F-7A (and B) "bloody nose" SP out there? If not could you, would you... pretty please?

Not the greatest of photos but I hope they help.

This last one is the best since I at least attempt to recreate the scene

Update: I found a picture of an F9A as well... can't tell what the differences are yet.

Dang! I'm just finishing a MoPac that the nose looks very much the same... not much effort to do that.

I know they just keep stacking up but any chance of doing a SOO F unit? We have this beautiful route by Ian Allen and very little loco choices.

I was wondering how your SOO was going Buzz.... !*don-know!*
Yes, have to agree......after many self inflicted uppercuts, the default F7 is doable, but a bear to get it right in some places.
My issue at the moment is to get it back to this stage again..... !*hp*! !*whack*!
