SD70ACe

Discussion of rolling-stock creation & re-painting.

Ummm, all this talk about "heritage schemes" - lets get the "Standard" paints first - UP, BNSF, CSX, and Norfolk Southern all own these locomotives (also believe KCS does as well). Then the specialty paint jobs can be done as a later DLC or by those very talented reskinners the we all know are out there.

May I suggest as a specialty job a BHP- Bilton or Saudi unit?

I think the "standard" schemes would be better to do, then re-painters do the special schemes.

CSX but thats sticky for commercial developers if they charge for it, CSX's Lawyer is a bulldog, and even when i had my MSTS site up with a SCL logo i got an email from her and had to apply for a license

QUOTE - "CSX's lawyer is a bulldog"

You know what looks good on a lawyer?

A Pit-Bull.

I've noticed that CSX is conspicuously absent from commercial Railworks DLC's. i guess the Brazillians are to busy running what's left of Anheuser-Busch in the ground to worry about collecting piddly licensing fees for their company logo.

Chicago and North Western 1995 and Missouri Pacific units would be awesome. Great looking model, can't wait to see the end results.

May I throw my hat into the ring please regarding unit liveries.

I'd like the DRGW because we have a Colorado route to put it on ( Castle Rock ) and I'd like the Chicago North Western colours and we can put that on our Port Ogden and Chicago Metro layout.

Thank you.

Just noticed there is an update:
"The model is finally unrapped and pre-lit. It currently has a default material applied over the entire mesh.
A couple of WIP screenshots showing it in the editor."
