For future consideration... perhaps?

Nate, can you see the picture I added to my post? Its an articulated auto rack, but slight different from the AutoMax.

Not sure why, but I just encountered a random derailment. I was testing them by taking them over Donner Pass. Got as far as Rocklin (from Roseville) and my train derailed. Not sure if it was the cars or not, but there were to sharp curves or switches around me.

Yep. Tried again and it said derailment due to consist tilt. I was only doing 40. Other than that, they are great models! !!*ok*!!

Were you in notch 8? GEs or EMDs?

It doesn't matter what notch you are in. danpmeyer knows about the issue and is working on it.

I suggest to the rest of the beta testers to PM Daniel instead of listing all the bugs here.

Ok, given what PapaExpress just said, it looks like I was able to save the rest of my hair and have worked out the derailment issues. I've been able to run 5 different scenarios that were derailing with alarming regularity, without a single hiccup! So, there will be an update (V4) uploaded late tomorrow to the beta site. Please use the same password for the corrected cars.

Hey Dan. Can you post here when you update the file? I don't know if you had already planned on that...

After several reported issues, and some graphical and operational improvements,

These should work correctly, fixing the derailment and "invisible" issues. Same password.

Having problems with specularity and the TrainBumpSpecEnvMask.fx shader. I'm good with the TrainBump (normal) part, and the Env part, but the Spec part...Using Blender, I have diffuse at .8, specular intensity of 0.1, hardness at 30 and emit at 0, and the alpha is 95%black. In the sunlight I get something that is very, very washed out, but on the shadow side I can see the color textures. At night it looks like its chrome plated. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

Just tried v5, and can't place them on track. Get; SBHH. Looks very promising though. Will be a welcome addition once sorted out. Thanks so much.
