I'm sorry I didn't phrase that correctly, I meant repaint. Are there any cars you know of that resemble these Arrows enough for Railworks? If so, maybe you could give that silver/metallic paint to one. By the way, I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions, it's just that since I got RW, I've been waiting for some SEPTA/NJT. This thread is gold, and so are your painting skills :-)

I dont mind all the questions. I asked alot myself when i got the game just before new years. I was all over looking for the same equipment myself.
Unfortunately, there are no cars similar enough to the Arrow III's in the game so i just chose IMO, the coolest looking EMUs they had that resemble anything Northeastern-like. I wish there were lines east of Penn in this game so i could take these 375/377's and make some LIRR cars......
Although some LIRR cars WOULD look good sitting on the northern tracks of Penn........

Anywho, the fleets are pretty much complete and im finishing up my first scenario with them in it. Its a Morning Commuter Acela running the full route northbound. IM making two more from the same scenario but basing those on one Philly-bound SEPTA and one NYC bound NJT. SHould have everything ready by the weekend.

And thank you!

And to tell you the truth, ive only been repainting for about a week.

Well in any case they're great. Btw, you have me so excited about your repaints that I've begun the planning process of a scenario that will run from 30th St right to NY Penn. You'll be in control of Amtrak Northeast Regional 174 and I'm being extra precise about EVERY single train on the NEC. Like, I will have all SEPTA, NJT, and Amtrak trains running on their correct timetables (or at least to the best of my abilities :D ). And it's nice to see someone like me who has obviously been interested at least in rail but just recently got RW. I've only been using it since November, so I still have tons of questions. But thanks so much for taking the time to make these beautiful, LONG overdue repaints :D

I have done Acela Express 2151 and set up NE Regional 185(but never finished building 185). Youll fins after a few that the real life schedule gets kinda blah and start changing a few things like extra train traffic. The Scenario im working on now is called "Early Morning Commuter: Acela Express" and will be the first of a three part scenario. This one has you running an Acela from Philly to NYC starting at 6am(real Acela schedule has 6:30 am but i like the look of an early morning sunrise in this one) and you start out with a side-by-side "race" with a SEPTA R8 from just before Zoo to N. Philly. Heres a teaser shot:

AE 2151 is set during a morning snow storm at 9am running from NYC to Philly. Im also going to make this available as soon as my fleet's out of "beta". And for that one you will need to install a freeware add on for some repaints done by another member of the community.

BTW, do you have the Acela Express add-on as well?

I do, in fact in my scenario, you start off waiting for one at a signal. I have you running an AEM-7 with 6 AmCoaches and an AmCafe leaving 30th St at 12:16 PM. The only assets I'm going to be using are the default NEC RSC assets (AEM, Amfleet), the Acela, your repaints for the Class 377, those Mk3 NJTs, and maybe the P40DC by Marleyman. Most people have the NEC, Acela, and P42. The only asset many people may not have is the 377. Let me know if I'm missing something.

thats pretty much it. Surprisingly, ive seen not a lot of people having the P42 since it was pulled by Stem and i see alot with the Class 377. London-Brighton seems to be a very popular add on

the Class 375/377 NJ transit "Comet V" repaint (Arrow III car substitute)

The PDF or Text file on the cars which will include info on rod numbers for the AEM7, Suggested car lengths/arraignments and Destination sign codes for the Class Class 375/377 for scenario building (please refer to the Brighton Line Pdf included in that add-on for more info).

You are truly amazing. Like seriously. I cannot wait for this, thank you soooooo so much. It's really gonna spice up the NEC, that's for sure :D

By the way, I noticed that on the Class 377, why is the area around the windows black? Is that unpaintable?

Also, because of that whole file library thing they're doing, are you going to upload to say, Mediafire until they get the library sorted out?

On the texture file, its tough to see where the windows end and the car body begins ( due to the prototype's flush window design) so i just took the safe route. i kinda like how they came out with them.

And because I post on multiple forums, I use cloud storage I have accounts with and post the links. One source, multiple forums, controlled by me.
