That's up to you. You see what is happening in IE so that's your call.
You can always attach images to a post. It's not necessary to upload them to another site and link to them.
Granted it helps me to keep the storage down if you do, but I certainly don't mind if you attach images. That's what the option is for, and I have a good bit of storage available.
