Okay, So last night my computer crashed and screwed up my Autocad. I'm having to reinstall it to continue working on my projects and maybe even rebuild them in 3ds max to be viable for Railworks and have better UV mapping without it having unwelded vertices like the autocad models have when converted to 3ds max. So stay tuned for more work on these two Beautiful Locomotives I'm working on.

Thanks,
Logan Thurman

Okay, So here's the early 3d build of my Frame, still have a lot to do before it's even close to being correct.

That amazes me you're able to use AutoCAD 3d to do a lot of that work. Once you see the fancy modelling programs like Inventor, SolidWorks, or 3ds max, its very hard to go back to AutoCAD 3d.

3ds Max is so much harder just to build the simplistic parts nowadays, I like Autocad 3d cuz is simlifies the extrusion without loosing the base 3d drawing(Literally I can make copies of the same model endlessly)

Splines should work in 3DS.

With all due respect, something doesn’t seem right here. You never finished any projects for Train Simulator, and now you are asking people to donate money so you can create an entirely new simulator?

That was my concern as well.
I also mean no disrespect but I'm not in the habit of investing in things that don't exist yet. I wish you the best with your project! When it's done I'll gladly take a look, and see about purchasing it.

Wait, hang on. You haven't completed one project you have worked on, and now you want people to pay you on a monthly basis? The people who chose to support someone do so not on some promise, but on what that person can present and say this is what you'll get. The only thing you can show for is failed projects.

I don't want to sound completely negative, but your patreon page is ridiculous. You're asking for 300 dollars a month, and only then someone gets an alpha version of the game? Realistically, you're looking at at least 3 years of full time work to create it, at least. So for a year of support at that level your asking for 3600 dollars from someone. If they were to support you at that level for 3 years, it's 10,800 dollars. That ludicrous! That's not support, that's an investment, and So far you've showed no reason to invest in you at all.

I wish you best of luck, I do, if you want to create a new game. But if you want to ask for serious monetary funds, you have to have something to show for it. Something that says this is what I can do. Same goes with your brothers. What have they created? What are their credentials? what can you show everyone you're asking to give you money, that this is actually something that can be done, not just a pipe dream?

Mr. Logan,

Again, no disrespect, but when your asking people for money, if I was you I'd get pretty good at explaining things. If not it could bite you in the butt later.
DrewG, really hit the nail on the head. Please listen to that gentleman.
Take care!

I'm not that good at explaining things, I just don't have that kind of capability of being a people kind of person. If you guys could help me explain it better and make it more professional I'd like that.

I think you missed the point we were all trying to make. Reread DrewG's post.
You can't expect to receive copious amounts of money from people when you don't present them with some work done. Look at your contemporaries, DTG, Gtrax, RRMods, eyein12, or Searchlight Simulations they don't present/advertise products to you until they are near completion or completed.
Your asking people to give you large sums of money MONTHLY because maybe you'll make something in the future.
Good luck, but I don't think you'll catch many fish that way.

P.S. I should mention that you were very charismatic on television, for someone who is not a "people person". *!greengrin!*
