Guys,
Thank you all for your nice words.

I don't feel beaten up at all and even when that happens I won't let it get to me.., I am used to the Germans so...
Making a good repaint is actually quite a lot of work. Getting all the details right is difficult and a lot of times there are small variations in certain types of engines that unfortunately cannot be changed because it is in the 3D model. Also the way developers have made the textures is different on each loco and finding out what goes where can be a nightmare. All of this means that 100% correct is very hard to do. Then, after completing the repaint there is a lot of work in making an installer and manual. Just sharing the whole loco folder is easy. I cannot do that however because of copyright. Even sharing only the .bin files and textures is technically speaking not legal.. After having everything done I normally use some testers to make sure everything works.
It is however still a fact that after a first release users notice things that I didn't or just forgot to do.
In the case of the ES44 I cannot change the position of the numberboards, that is 3D (geopcdx) info. I could change the color but I have to see what happens when the light goes on.. A 'clean' version of the Vancouver2010 loco is no problem. With all RSC/DTG repaints it is crucial to first unpack the .ap file, I should have mentioned that in the manual.
Again, thank you all for your kind reactions. I will try and focus a bit more on US and Canadian repaints.
