NPCU Question

Unread postby 1225fan5358 » Mon Jun 10, 2013 2:08 pm

I am thinking about making an NPCU with ditch lights out of the RSC Cal Zephyr F40PH. But first I want to know, Is it possible? I will really need some help on this since I have merely no 3D modeling knowledge or experience. Is there anyway to cut off those out dated strobes and cut into the body and get the "garage door effect"? I was thinking if Mike could do that kind of thing with the SD60 and the ES44, wouldn't the same be possible with the F40PH? The cabbages come up on The Pere Marquette almost daily and with that, I just saw 406 two nights ago so I'm kind of driven by that experience. What files can I change to make it a cabcar? How do I take away the smoke? How do I take out all the sounds except for the horn and bell? I know there's a lot of questions, but hey, Ima n00b! !**duh*!! !DUH!

You cannot cut away parts from the main body of the model. So no its not possible to do as you ask.
