RSBinTool and Alpha

I am trying to trace down a specific bug in RSBinTool. Who can open a DXT3 texture (pre TS2013) expand the MIPs tree, click on Alpha and see a perfectly formed alpha channel?

I am hearing that sometimes it does not show (white image), it does show, and it shows but fuzzy.
