Help from former MSTS users

Any former Microsoft Train Simulator users out there? I need to learn how to loop whistles in one file. I use to have MSTS, but I never made a whistle sound for it. MSTS uses one sound file for the start, the loop, and the end sounds. So, how do you loop them?

Download Audacity and familiarise yourself with it. It's really easy and you can precisely loop sound.

I have Audacity and my dad's Adobe Soundbooth C5. I know how to make sounds in three sound files, but RSC uses one sound file. I need to learn how to do this.

Oh I understand. I'm not an expert, and there are a few sound geniuses around here who will be able to tell you how it works. In the meantime if you're experimenting you could try downloading a horn from the file library which will have .wavs instead of .davs and imitate what they've done with Audacity.
