Just add headlights to RW2 engines is the easiest part of job, once you get the hang of it. The hardest part is tweaking the parameters (angle and positon of beam object; intensity, collor and angles of projecting lights... a lot of them, and some impacting fps). That's a learning curve that takes time, and there are too much details to take in consideration. You can start editing engines bin files with RW Tools. I have some freeware enhancements here on RWA Lybrary, and in the SD40-2W Widenose Enhancement Pack, I attached a sample of what I did with that engine, you might like to look into.
