Textures not showing from inside cab..

Unread postby PamBrooker » Thu Jun 10, 2010 9:22 pm

Can someone tall me which string in which file controls the cab view of the external hood ( nose?/). Ive run across an interesting situation and I'm not sure what to do.
I got all the external textures and the number board working finally, by copying over the files from the warbonnet and editing them as needed. But i must admit, i wasnt expecting this to happen.. Any clue would be appreciated..
Thanks..
Pam

You appear to be missing some of the textures from the textures folder under the cabview folder.

Yes, it's two different texture sets, because the cab is a separate model.

I have the same situation on Michaels ATSF paint. Everything works except I get the same missing texture. Need to check it with one of the other textures in his set.

All is well from the BNSF orange paint jobs so I think it's something in the warbonnet files, but I'll be darned if so far I can find what it is that's causing the hood to not show up.

It could just be painted onto the model, which means repainting is impossible without the source files. But if someone else has done it, then it is possible.

If that were true it would show up as it were in the model. The fact that it shows up as a missing texture means it's missing............I think. *!greengrin!*

No, you still have to have the texture for the game for it to show either way.
