RSC SD70MAC

Unread postby Shortliner » Wed Oct 05, 2011 10:34 pm

So I have a question regarding the SD70MAC created by RSC. Is it possible to edit the train files (NOT the model, but the files) and turn it into a realistic SD60MAC? Or is a new model needed for a SD60MAC? The reason I ask, is that on the outside, it seems that the SD70MAC and SD60MAC share the same body style, but maybe I'm wrong.

Thoughts?

The SD60MAC's had the tri-window "Canadian Cab." Other then that they share the same body.

SD60M and SD60i share similar bodies , though overall length is shorter .. Maybe either of those is what you are looking at and not the tri window MAC above ? If so a repaint would look the part .... ignoring the obvious differences (trucks) .

Actually the SD60MAC doesn't have a Canadian Cab, as Canadian Cab's have four windows, not three. But an SD60MAC would be nice...
They exist everywhere. You may not see them, but they're there. Awww yeeeaaaahhhh, 20% Cooler! /)

SD60M's are the tri-window units. The only SD60's with true "Canadian Cab"s are the Wide-body SD60Fs ordered by CN.
