Rain on windows

Unread postby buzz456 » Mon Dec 08, 2025 2:16 pm

Is there any easy way to get rain to show up on windscreens? I saw some huge complicated way to do it by Papa Express but we are working on a older Brimley model that does not currently show raindrops.

You have to change the shader in the model to TrainGlassWeatherEffects.fx otherwise you will not see any effect.

That should be the shader used for regular windows. Something like *glass*.
Which model, please ?
I may have time in the weekend.
