AEM-7 Phase III Enhancement

Unread postby TheR62Fan » Fri Feb 19, 2021 5:16 pm

After 7FDL1688's release of his AEM-7 texture enhancement pack, I knew what I had to do, so I made a Phase III repaint with the enhancement as a base and a accurate Phase III colors. It needs a bit of work, but if 7FDL approves of allowing it to be released, I'll go ahead and prepare it.

I also worked on the Amfleet cars,

Sweet!!! BTW, did you applied the "stainless steel" of the cars to the body of the locomotive? The locomotive looks like "stainless steel", not "platinum mist".

I had used the same color as your AEM-7 pack, but I guess I can apply platinum mist.

Here's what should be a proper redo of the platinum mist color, hopefully this time more prototypical. (Also featuring a properly colored plow! *!greengrin!* Now it's just a matter of those coupler-area details that need a recolor, and it should be good to go.

Looks gorgeous!!!
BTW, it didn't look to me as if you used the same body color from my AEM-7 textures, especially on the very first two screenshots.

The 'gray" color on the engine and the amfleets looked the same. That's why I was wondering.

I had originally used the gray color from your enhancement, then changed it to the official Amtrak platinum mist.
