NS High Hood GP38-2 From J. Cornell

Unread postby MadMike1024 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 10:28 pm

Very nice, has working ditch lights and walk lights, just plain nice model. The horn didn't work, because whomever packaged it didn't include the P5 folder. No big deal, I changed the P5 reference to an S3 and all is well.

Is there a newer release of the low hood model? (after the BNSF Here.) I've seen some pictures of it with working ditch lights. Building templates now for the HH...

Mike,
Going along with this, not to highjack the thread, but I have a problem that the MOPAC frt,SP, and WP all have no horn or bell. The Rock Island one works fine. I have looked these files over until my eyes are crossed and can't seem to find a solution. Is this something I did or am I the only one too dense to fix this without having to ask?

P.S. Looking to see what all I have on the GP38.

Mike,
It looks like if you go and download the repaints by Michael Zimmer on Obo's loco page you will have the new version with HH LH version as well as long end forward and short end forward. Make sure you find the NS not the NW file.
!*cheers*!

Mike, what is so shocking about the ditch lights? the default locos had ditch lights and my GP38's have them aswell. !**conf**!

My fault. I aliased the Cornell GP38 horn sounds, and if it isn't installed, they won't work. I created a folder inside the .rwp for the RI, so it'll work independantly. Download and Install this .rwp and see if it helps. http://mdroaming.home.comcast.net/Dependencies.rar If this does fix the problem, please let me know and I'll release a patch file set.

The model I currently have doesn't have them, and the fans animations don't work.

That didn't work. I already had the Cornall GP38 installed but I did it again just in case. No joy.
