UP SW9 repaint in progress.

Only a single driver, and still doesn't have the mask layer added to kill the shiny look. That will be the last step.

I discovered the dropstep/MU handrails are wrong for the series, so they will be changed to the straight version.

It's created from the repaint kit that Britkits has made available. Once completed, I'll ask permission from Britkits to put it up for download.

Edit: It's an SW8, my bad... *!embar*!

I like it. Good to see more repaints are in the pipe. Thanks

Left and right view... single number, but may do two. Still no mask for the bright, may have one be newly painted and the second a little dirty.

The truck plates should be silver, but I'll be buggered if I can find the file they are using for the color source, or the location of the headlight color.

I'll ask Mr. Jim if I can release it....

the skin will also work on the SW-1200, SW-1200-f, and the cow and calf. Auto-numbering is off for the SW8, but should be on for the rest.

OK, it's done as a SW9/SW1200 (actually numbered for a SW9) and has been approved for release...

One issue though, it won't work if the original free kit is installed... I can't figure out how to redirect the .GeoPcDx file to my own folder.

Edit: The reason the model being released is the two stacker: The files to create the single stack model are part of Britkits Xtra payware pack for the SW1200.
I have permission from Mr. Richard Cowen (Britkits) to release models based on the freeware download, but must leave out files that come from the payware release.

If you want, I can put together the SW1200-F MU equipped switcher as a manned/unmanned pair, a TR5 cow and calf (1811 and 1811B), and a SW8 single stacker that will all require the purchase of the payware pack from Britkits to create properly. Please, let me know if there's a want for them.

All done and packaged. Uploaded to the board, waiting for Hawk to post it. It will require the download of the basic kit from Britkits.

http://www.dickyjim.com/diesel.html and get the 'Kit 05 Sw1200' While you are there, go to the updates page and get both of the patches.

You might also want to purchase the 'Kit 05 SW1200 Xtra Pack' ($6.60 US) because I plan to fix up 5 more packages with all the variations.

Watch this space for more info. !**duh*!!
