CNS&M Rolling Stock

We'll see where this goes. I'm starting with something very square and windowless: a Merchandise Despatch car, (basically a motorized boxcar). Modelling software is Blender. Expect a slew of questions in this topic.

I have wheels!

And with it comes my first barrage of questions. 1) What is the proper naming hierarchy for a locomotive? 2) How do I rearrange items in the Outliner list of Blender to put, for instance, multiple axles into a subcategory of a bogie?

Answers to your questions are in the RSC dev docs. You can download them from the file library.
I made an engine in Blender by following the "simple engine" document in the dev docs, only adapting the instructions for Blender, and had no problem.
