Shutting my Paypal area

Shutting my Paypal area

Unread postby artimrj » Tue Jul 25, 2023 9:44 am

I am shutting down my Paypal account. So don't use it anymore for donations to RWA. Use the published link instead.

I will still have Railworks America and the Trainz will still be there. So don't be sad.

Thank you,
Bob

Must be a tough decisdion Bob. You and the whole team created a great community, must be tough to let it all go. Or will some parts of the site, like the forum, survive ?

The site and the forums are staying up as usual.
Bob transferred the ownership to Buzz Baxter months ago already.
This was done to preserve the site and the community.
Buzz has been paying the monthly bill and gets the donations.

Everything is fine. Between Chacal who knows what he's doing and me not so much we have everything working pretty much like it's supposed to work. As time goes by we plan to add some activities after Summer is over to add to your enjoyment.

Good to hear!!!! Although Bob is getting older he was smart enought to hand-ver the stick to some young lads.

That way he can enjoy the forum as always without all the crap that come at you as an owner / admin.

My Paypal account is closed as of today. No more donations can be received. Thank you for your support all of these years.

Just to be clear: you can still send donations to RWA and they are still used to help paying the rent for the server.
Bob used to receive them when he owned RWA, now it's Buzz Baxter.

I am retired and not have money to help you. I get $2840 Social Security and wife gets $900. We are doing good but it is gone sometimes before the end of the month. I have a large condo and it takes a bit of money every month. My boss pays my electricty and water and other things. He is the best even though I retired from him. He brought stuff for Christmas for us last week. A huge ham and boxes of chocolate :)

You don't need to help us with more money, Bob, you've been footing the bill for several years.
Enjoy your retirement and just run trains!

And do whatever Kerri tells you to.
*!!thnx!!*
