Boxcar Hobo View?

Boxcar Hobo View?

Unread postby hobo1960 » Sun Sep 05, 2021 7:44 pm

G'day everyone.

I was wondering if any has experimented with and or knows of a Boxcar model that offers a 'Hobo' view?

I have such models in a few of my other RR games and was hoping someone here might have some insights.

I know that some Caboose models offer views so was wondering if one would be possible for boxcar.

Would make a nice viewing option.

Not exactly a hobo view but a brakeman's view, my 1800s boxcars offer "passenger" views from the roof (actually from the planks used by the brakemen as walkways along the roof) so that you have a 360 degree unobstructed view of the scenery.

I think you can do it easily by using my passenger views as examples.
Search for this in the RWA file library:

Passenger views for the HSC P70 and caboose
Amfleet passenger views

Tutorial for changing and adjusting camera location:
Manually editing an object's position
Over the hill and gathering speed
