I assume they have fixed at least a few buglets and small issues.
Is there a list of those ?

I have mentioned this before but there are several RAM cleaning devices out there. I use the one that comes with IOBIT Advance System Care. When loading the game I always click on the RAM cleaner and can't remember the last time I had a OOM while running the game. When re-painting when you are restarting the game a bunch of times it's a god send to prevent crashes. It's just one click and it just sits up in the top right side of your screen. You would think DTG would be able to pinpoint the problem since I can assure you if you restart the game enough times without clearing the RA the crash will happen eventually.

I'll echo what Buzz just wrote. I use the same RAM cleaner on Buzz's recommendation and seldom have an OOM. I just clicked on it now and it freed 829Mb and I am only using Firefox. Further recommendation, when you are running Railworks, don't run Chrome or any other browser and if you don't have a RAM scrubber, don't run more than 2-3 scenarios before closing and restarting Railworks.

Here is an explanation on how this works: https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/does-cleaning-ram-helps/

This comment is a interesting clue perhaps:
There aren’t many advantages to freeing up RAM, but it may help take care of programs with memory leak issues.

A memory leak issue simply means that memory is allocated to certain programs but it is not used by the program or released upon the program being terminated. This memory cannot be flushed by the operating system.

You have to restart the PC or use a RAM cleaning tool to regain it. If your PC’s RAM is filled even when there are no programs or processes running, it could also be a memory leak.

This will be the fist update I didn't pay for. I usually found at least one route each year that would make it worth getting during a sale. Not this time. I'll wait until next year's edition to see if it has any routes I want. I kinda doubt it simply because they have been releasing a lot of routes that others on here like, but I'm personally not interested in.

It's always interesting to see what new North American routes are in the works. It doesn't help that I'm heavily biased towards routes west of the Mississippi River, but at least it shows they are looking out for lovers of routes east of it. I don't know the sales numbers, but DTG seems to me like they are running out of ideas and are just kinda treading water at the moment. We shall see. **!!2cents!!**

In todays RailfanTV stream DoveTail just stated that the Out Of Memory error was actually not about memory, but something else. It supposed to be addressed in the 2021 version which will be published tomorrow.

I agree with buzz!! Do not criticize DTG for their overall lack of effort. Criticism is not welcome here!

Constructive criticism of items are always welcome. Attacking people or companies is not. Accusing them of not caring or some other motive not in evidence is just ignorant. We can discuss these issues without becoming unpleasant.

Well, I am ready for it. Just deleted TS2020 and Steam and am getting ready for a fresh install of Steam and TS2021. Should not be too long before it comes available I think.

Did make some screenshots of my in-games setting before removing the software.
