This is good. However, once the train is in a more open area of the route is there any way to get the view back to the default distance? I can "zoom in" with the mouse wheel (FOV) but that's different... isn't it?

Exterior helicopter view zoomed out..

My google fu has failed me. When switching to helicopter view, either front or rear, in hilly terrain close to the track (Feather River, NS Coal, Clinchfield to name a few), the view is zoomed out so that one can see the train without clipping into the terrain This is good. However, once the train is in a more open area of the route is there any way to get the view back to the default distance? I can "zoom in" with the mouse wheel (FOV) but that's different... isn't it?

... and this is why I'm not fit to be a virtual locomotive engineer, let alone a real one!
