Just a heads-up for anyone interested in the sub-continent...

AK Trains (https://aktrainsims.com/) continues, working towards a September(?) release of the NW Frontier route; this will be broad gauge. As with most producers, their pricing and procurement routines for affluent westerners are separate from those offered to customers in India. There is a bundled deal available that will cover all assets currently available, and the forthcoming route. (Explore this with the man himself by email or Messenger.)

BharatStream (https://www.bharatstream.com/) is becoming a very useful shop-window, not just for their in-house assets and route, but also for a number of other broad-gauge route builders and for DMG Productions (https://www.facebook.com/DMGPROductionIN/), which focuses on metre-gauge (now almost extinct in the real world Indian scene) with rolling stock, a demo route and a prototypical route under construction.

There's some freeware about; payware items rely on Paypal. The purchase process is a little more complicated than what we are used to in the western world; you need to study the instructions (set out on the BharatStream site) carefully. It's worth saying that every purchase I have made has gone through smoothly. If in doubt, ask the producer...
