Well, since the F59PHI uses a 12-cylinder EMD 710 prime mover, I'd suggest maybe looking for sounds with that kind of engine.

Found an enhancement pack in the Library for the SD70ACes, using EMD 710 prime mover sounds.

The way I would install them to the F59PHI is to:

Track down the engine sounds.

Replace the engine sounds with the ones provided by renaming.

How would I change these sound files and eng proxyxml sounds to the F59PHI? Like write down a list with renamed SD70 files to the F59PHI.

Issue is that pack is for a 16 cylinder 710. F59's have a very distinctive sound being they are powered by a 12 cylinder 710. The class 66 has these sounds IIRC

I've just been using the engine sounds from the Freightliner Class 66. They work pretty well.

The Audio Shack had a sound pack for this. I don't think they offer it anymore.

If I had the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 66 EP, I would apply the sounds to the F59s
