The nightmare continues (another crash/error message)

Unread postby SAR704 » Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:05 am

I exported a loft into a route, and noticed that it was already present via another name. So I renamed it, and reexported and ran into this error.

May be a software issue, but the game instantly quit, and it wasn't really what I needed. Anyone else had this problem before? It looks to be Visual C related, but I have never seen it before, and I think I updated VC recently, but who knows.

Very unwelcome interruption to the progress.

Let Google be your friend. There are all kinds of postings on there about how to fix this.

Admittedly, I installed Visual C and the problem got 'downrated' to a loft issue.

I was under the assumption that Win 10 had this preinstalled, as it seems like many programs use it, like Java which supposedly won't be free for much longer.

I may be able to go into a tiny bit more detail within a couple of weeks, but don't hold your breath on it.

Java will always be free. It is outdated and new software is under developement (if not already in Beta) to take its place. I can't say anything else about it or I will be killed.
